Hong Seung-Pyo

Abstract
As interest in cognitive functional evaluation(CFE) increases in the field of occupational therapy in Korea recently, the importance of individual treatment goals and performance measurement by establishing the evaluation process and using appropriate evaluation tools is increasing. The purpose of this study is to propose an CEF process and tools to use at each stage for performing. We identified CFE stage as (1) initial interview, (2) cognitive screening and self-report questionnaire, (3) performance-based assessment, (4) cognitive tests for specific areas, (5) environmental and outcome evaluation (6) analysis of evaluation results and establishment of intervention plan. And to promote CFE in clinical practice, evaluation tools that can be used in stage 1-5 are presented, including domestic literature. Although cognitive rehabilitation intervention is not yet applied in accordance with the CFE in Korea, it can be confirmed that various assessment tools are being used in research field. It is expected that application of CEF will be activated by using various assessment tools appropriately in the future.
